Good team effort to get a come back win. MC's were down until the bottom of the 5th, then the bats came alive. Good game by both teams.
Monday, May 14th

A fun and exciting game to the end. Velo's pitching kept MC's off the bases the 1st 2 innings, while they put up 4 runs. MC put up 3 in the 4th. In the 5th Pablo Pardo hit a grand slam to take the lead, then struck out last 3 velocita batters to end the game. MC also turned a tripple play in the field. Good game by both teams.
Saturday, May 12th
Mickey D's 7, Cookies Restaurant 6
Good pitching from Cookies had Mickey D's hemmed in and took a 6-1 lead into the bottom of the last inning. That's when Mickey D's bats game alive with several hits and smart base running capped by Jacob Love's double to secure the come from behind victory. Well played and fun game to watch for both teams.

Awesome pitching for MC, Tre Sangiacomo, Johnny Doligale, Zachary Grasley all pitched very well. For Pizza Matt Nolan reached on and scored twice.

Velocita Technology 3, Tom Cross 2
Velocita Technology held on for a win in this close, hard-fought low-scoring contest. For Tom Cross: Robert Bennett went 2 for 2 at bat while Noah Bickett and Nick Gantt each had a hit and scored a run. For Velocita: Ryan Doody went 2 for 3; driving in Brandyn Collins and Zion Manning on his double, and then scoring Brandyn again on a single. A key flyout catch by Jake Kubinski in centerfield along with an unassisted double play by Nick Gough to end the game allowed Velocita to hang on for the win.

A hard fought game, Mickey D's started the scoring drive in the 2nd inning with 2 runs. Cookies followed suit with 5 runs in the 3rd, then a banger HR by Josiah M. in the 5th which started a 6 run rally to end the inning and the game.

Both teams came to play hard today. Velocita took an early lead and and was able to hold off a late-game surge by Cookies for the win. For Cookies, Kaiser had a well-placed big base hit after a 4th inning rally. For Velocita, Ryan Doody went 3 for 3 at bat, Josh Escobedo helped Velocita scoring drive with a big base hit, and Nick Gough contributed with an early game triple and a home run.

Agian awsome pitching by Tre S. Johnny D, and Pablo P. only giving up 1 run. On offense all mc's got on base at least once. For pizza Tyler F. and A. Bolen got on base twice. Good pitching by Isaiah M.

The game was played hard by both teams but we came up short as we were overpowered by Troy Township. We had a good team effort by Velocita, but we came up short. For Velocita, Nick Gough went 2 for 2 with a triple and a home run. Brandon Freis contributed with a hit at his first at bat. For Troy, Todd Bell had two hits, including a double with Jameson Engstrom also contributing with a hit.

Good pitching and a good game played by both teams. Mickey D's rallied strong in the 3rd but fell short.

well played game on the part of both teams. For Turk, Mike Campanaro was solid at bat going 2 for 2 with 1 RBI. For Velocita, Ryan Doody and Zion Manning each had 2 hits (including a triple by Ryan Doody) while Nick Gough went 3 for 3 with 2 triples. A solid Velocita team effort and 16 strikeouts helped secure the win.

MC Sports dominated the 4 inning game, putting the cherry on top with a 3rd inning home run by Pedro P. Cookies gave it their all to include 2 singles by Devon K and Mike E, both scoring but the squad just couldn't seem to get a rally going.
